Davis & Joseph’s Chincoteague wedding this past spring was a breath of fresh air after a year where most couples dealt with condensed guests lists, last minute vendor cancellations, and all things stressful and unpleasant when it comes to wedding planning.  They were able to throw a huge, energetic, and love filled celebration that encompassed what felt like half an island worth of equally ecstatic and supportive guests, at an amazing outdoor waterfront ceremony and reception.  I’m very excited to share this joyous day with you all-

Caitlin and Henry’s rustic, environmentally conscious wedding this past fall in Mount Airy, Maryland, was by far one of my favorite weddings to date. These two have a great awareness of their impact in the world, and transferred that into a wedding that was full of personal, respectful touches that were completely “them”. From the home crafted beer to the seasonal florals, every detail was a perfect blend of their personalities and their lifestyle (including their favorite Thai food for dinner and an amazing vintage inspired tea length dress, just to name a few more details-so, so “them”). Caitlin and Henry are one of the best matched couples I’ve met, and I absolutely loved every single minute of this fall day.

If you checked out Meghan and Charlie’s engagement session on the blog last fall then you already know how awesome these two are, and how long this day has been coming.  So it came as no surprise that their Chincoteague Island wedding this past weekend was celebrated with excitement, fun, and love from all around.  Meghan has a great eye and even the smallest details showcased their long, beautiful journey together.  She also has a great sense of humor (as does Charlie, luckily) and threw in a little prank for the groom that was so “them”.  I always have a ton of fun with these two and am so glad to have been a part of this stage of their lives.
