A gorgeous sunset, stunning red dress, and one of the most fun couples on Earth made Elisabeth and Stephen’s engagement session on Assateague, Virginia, one of my favorites of the season. Bubbly and tender at the same time, these two were an absolute dream to work with. I could go on for days about how easy going and natural these two are. Add in a little ocean breeze, and it was magic to say the least. I think the entire album was comprised of “favorites” this time, but here’s a few that I think really show the chemistry between them. Davis & Joseph’s Chincoteague wedding this past spring was a breath of fresh air after a year where most couples dealt with condensed guests lists, last minute vendor cancellations, and all things stressful and unpleasant when it comes to wedding planning. They were able to throw a huge, energetic, and love filled celebration that encompassed what felt like half an island worth of equally ecstatic and supportive guests, at an amazing outdoor waterfront ceremony and reception. I met up with the Foust family back over the summer for a sweet early morning session on Assateague. Andrew, winning all of the “best husband” points, planned this session as a surprise for his wife while on vacation.
