Kelsey and Michael’s wedding at Captain’s Cove in Greenbackville, Virginia, this past year was one that was literally years in the making.  After lots of rescheduling though there were able to finally celebrate with loved ones in a ceremony that was equally moving and stunning.  Here is their day:

The first time I met Cody was minutes before his wedding; he was calm, composed, and absolutely beaming.  The first time I saw Carly was as she walked down the aisle, and it was clear why Cody had tears slipping out of the corners of his eyes when he saw her.  I think the word stunning is an understatement, but more than that she radiates such a kind, compassionate vibe that makes it easy to see how Cody fell for her.  Their ceremony on the water at Pell Gardens was so intimate and emotional, with laughter and tears alternating frequently. And as I watched I found myself lost in the words at times, laughing along and feeling like I’d known them for their whole relationship.

I had such a great time with these two in the short time we spent together and honestly felt completely honored to be asked to capture their wedding.  Though I don’t usually post a ton of ceremony images, the amount of emotion and love they showed I just couldn’t narrow down my favorites.  I hope you smile as much as I do looking at this stunning, completely in love couple.

Brittany and Ryan’s Maid of Honor summed up these two up perfectly with one little Dr. Seuss quote.  From a very foxy first look to a tornado warning and all the fun in between, their day was nothing short of perfectly “them”.  If you’ve meet Brittany and Ryan then you know how awesome of a couple they are and we had the absolute best time with them this past weekend at their Virginia Beach wedding.  So here’s to some weirdness (in the best kind of way) to kick off your weekend 🙂

I honestly can’t think of a more perfect spot to celebrate your marriage than on the spot that you plan to start your lives together.  Getting married on their own plot of land where soon they will build their home together was only one of the sweet, heartfelt details that made Heather and Hunter’s wedding so special.  From the tear filled vows to the heirloom dried flowers in her bouquet, love and honor was squeezed into every bit of the day.  I’m so glad that I was able to capture these two awesome people and party well into the night with them! Here’s a little look at their wedding amidst the woods under looming trees at their (soon to be) home in Spotsylvania.

Susan and Brandon are one of those couples where I knew immediately that I wanted to capture their wedding. They are both so sweet and open, and their laid back ceremony was both beautiful and personal. I am so excited to share a little peak at their ocean front ceremony from this past weekend. Enjoy!

I don’t think I can say enough good things about this couple or their wedding this past weekend.  Morgan is a ball of pure, sweet energy, and she put all of her personality and heart into creating a day that perfectly reflected her and Joe’s personality.  Coastal touches mixed with subtle football themes (a beach girl who loves football and a football coach who loves a beach girl) set the theme, but the sheer happiness they both radiated really placed the mood.  I had such a great time celebrating and partying with these two.  Couldn’t be happier for you two!
